French President changes mandatory school age from 6 to 3 leaving my family with some difficult decisions

Macron confirmed his announcement just last week, making France the first EU country to enforce schooling at such a young age.

Those of you following my journey will know I am currently living in France. My son Esteban is just a few weeks away from turning three and the thought of sending him away makes my stomach turn.

Reality check

Is it okay to enforce the disintegration of the family unit when a child is just three years old? My stomach has already answered this question for me but I am left wondering how it is that the people of France are not banging on the doors of their President this week in disgust?

On the contrary, since the announcement many people here have casually enquired where we will be sending Esteban to school like it's no big deal.

The move is said to reflect the president's desire to make school the place of "real equality", a place where the playing fields are levelled for the disadvantaged communities.

This statement makes no sense because those disadvantaged communities he speaks of already had the right to send their kids to government pre-schools at age 3 if they chose and it has been this way since 1989. The only change is that this supposed equality is now compulsory.

How to enforce vaccination without enforcing vaccination

French law doesn't permit non vaccinated children to go to school. But now that school is obligatory by age 3, so too by default is the full vaccination schedule... unless of course you have the time and inclination to take the education of your children into your own hands as we do.

Both our kids have never received a vaccination and it is unlikely they ever will. So homeschooling is the only option if we are to remain legal in France.

Macron followed the announcement with a playful tweet, listing in his own handwriting all the things children believe to be the most beneficial about more time at school.

Screen Shot 2018-04-06 at 10.25.15.png

For all these reasons and many more, school will now be compulsory from 3 years (and not 6 years). Macron

Let's hope the "many more" are a little more persuasive than the reasons listed above which include:

  • learning to speak
  • learning to dance
  • using modelling clay
  • painting & drawing

Call me crazy, but don't these things happen naturally if we provide a stimulating environment at home?

Reliance on the system

It seems to me that we are fast becoming more and more reliant on the system to provide for us that which we once provided for ourselves. If we were to start sending our children to school at six months, how long would it be before people had forgotten children don't need school to learn to walk?

IMG_6953.jpg

The same thing has happened with these basic life skills. Children don't need to be forced to explore their creativity or to learn how to read & write. Given a calm environment, the basic tools and a little guidance they are naturally inquisitive & more than capable of learning these things without the help of government institutions.

A close-up on (the non education of) Esteban

est-lulu-91.jpg

I refer to it as non education because there is no separation between his enjoyment of life and that which he is learning.

Michel Thomas (the language expert)

I am following the guidance of this man to learn French. He speaks a total of 12 languages and teaches them very well, even in the form of recordings. He is famous for his unconventional approach in which he turns classrooms into living rooms. After years of trial and error he found that the best way for people to learn was in the more relaxed settings.

As such, Esteban's education began a long time ago...

Screen Shot 2018-04-06 at 20.57.02.png

He is able to answer questions and communicate what he wants in both French & English, though his preferred language (when given youtube time) is currently Russian... for reasons I am yet to understand!

He knows his left from right and can navigate an ipad with ease.

He can recognise and name the numbers 1 to 10 in French, English & Indonesian (thanks to 2 years in Bali).

He only wears nappies at night and knows how to use a urinal.

He is able to sing the alphabet (just in English) and is able to recognise some of the letters.

He knows how to hold a pen and has been drawing and paining daily for over a year already.

IMG_8136.jpg

He is currently learning water colours & acrylics and with his huge protective top he can go as crazy as he wants!

Music and dancing is a daily thing for him, but the musical instruments drift in and out of his life as do the countries & cultures.

IMG_6958.jpg

Our daily walks introduce him to new things every time.

IMG_0534.jpg

No matter where we are.

IMG_7422.jpg

But what about friends & social interaction?

I believe it is our role as parents to seek this out for him.

In Bali it was easy. They would come to us because he is a cute looking white kid!

IMG_7166.jpg

There is a popular buffet restaurant with a decent play area situated next to our supermarket of choice here in France, so whenever we shop there we also stop to eat... and watch him play with the other kids.

IMG_9479.jpg

And there are plenty of other children in the village who (if we make the effort to enquire) are always available to play with.

Home schooling RULES

The new regulation here in France is set to start in September 2019 which means we are okay for now, but to avoid problems, come September next year we will have to either declare him to be in home schooling (which will mean regular check-ups from the authorities) or simply leave France altogether.

These are the current guidelines for the few families in France who do choose to go for home schooling:

Opera Snapshot_2018-04-06_213023_www.frenchentree.com.png

This seems like a reasonable list to me and I feel sure it will be covered. This and so much more, including subjects you won't find in too many schools...

  • ESP games
  • mediation
  • plant care
  • food & nutrition
  • Reiki

But that's not really the problem. The idea of registering him with the education authorities and subjecting ourselves to their inspections doesn't sit well with me. What if we do something wrong? What if we find ourselves in a position where we are legally obliged to send him to a school? Not an option.

IMG_9544.jpg

Final thoughts

In the end I expect Esteban to point me in the direction of that which he wants to learn and it is my job to recognise what this is and make every effort to teach him the skills required to research and develop his knowledge & intuition, with or without me... in any country he happens to find himself.

I do not expect him to be the same as me. Nor do I expect him to fit into any pre-set categories, certainly not those dictated by government institutions.

IMG_9416.jpg

Just as I cannot see the full perspective of my mother or father he will not be able to see mine and to him I will most likely appear a relic of the past.

No matter the various mad laws being enforced on us and our children, Sabrina & i will never stop striving to provide the kind of life adventure which cannot be compared to a childhood spent at school.

Our love to you all 🌱

ughh ... how unfortunte for this to happen just after you move to France.

I would suggest finding and talking to other French homeschoolers, and hopefully unschoolers, to see just how strict the rules are.

Where I live for example, for some reason most people don't even know about the most freeing way to homeschool. Here we have the right to choose between being "enrolled" for homeschooling, where you have to report to a teacher and receive some government funds to pay for supplies and activities. OR you can choose "registered" which means don't get government money but also don't have to report to a teacher or meet PLO's (provincial learning outcomes.)

For some reason most homeschoolers want the government money and some of them don't even want the rest of us to let people know that they can ditch the government almost completely.

I tried being "enrolled" and yes, my teacher was really good and flexible, but it still puts your children in a bit of a box and the money was simply not worth it to me at all!

So I have no idea if something like that might exist in France, but talking to other unschoolers should uncover your real options.

Thank you Linda. A great idea to connect with other homeschooling families and get the low down.

We have found a doctor now who we trust and I feel sure she can help us connect with the right people. She is one of the few doctors here brave enough to speak out against vaccines and now has to operate from her home as a consequence.

Interesting to hear the options available over there and hope very much the same thing exists here. No thanks to the money and no thanks to the government interference. We got this one covered!

It is such a privilege and a pleasure to be able to take this role in the development of the lives of my children and I wouldn't give it up for the world :)

You’re the best @canadian-coconut ! 🙏❤️

You're not wrong there brother. Steemit would be a very different place for so many people without @canadian-coconut 💗

Thanks Sam for another great "Awareness" post and for shining some light on this. It appears that the gov't's of the world are hell bent on enforcing these poisonous vaccines. Anyone with 5% of a brain can see what has happened in the last 20 years with the increase in mandatory vaccines. Plain and simple, these are more crimes against Humanity. @kenistyles and I were discussing this earlier and it seems like one of the "selling" points for Sheeple that are asleep is that now you won't have to babysit your child until they are 6 years old because we will take them off your hands for you. For anyone to fall for this with vaccines stacked on top just show how brainwashed people really are. What we will end up seeing if this isn't stopped is an insane 100% increase in vaccine related death and diseases. The writing is on the wall. The question is can anyone "read" anymore with all of the evidence that has clearly piled up over the past 10 years. In SHAMerica, big pharma is paying out settlements to those who win after their child dies or develops a disease which will inhibit them for life and is proven to be from vaccines. They are simply making so much money as well as being paid by the elite to commit these heinous crimes. Thanks again for shining some Light on this. Sending good energy your way 🙏

They have rigged the game so that they don't even have to pay out settlements any more. I wrote a monster of an article six months ago on this subject: https://steemit.com/health/@samstonehill/truth-seeking-1-vaccines-and-the-hidden-agenda-a-detailed-examination-of-the-facts

All we can do now is be as informed as we can and help others with their understanding of the world...

Thanks for your support my friend :)

This is very sad news, and very disturbing since other slave nations of Zionist Europe will likely follow this enslavement order. All I could do is leave an honest polite go-fuck-yourself message to That asshole Macron 0DBD1B7B-8C4C-4441-9688-8FE721B8AC0D.png

Good on you for taking the time to write something. Even if it was a polite go-fuck-yourself!

Agreed that other countries will be taking note of how little resistance there was to this change in law. Europe has been suitably brainwashed now for this attack on the liberty of our children to go unnoticed.

It's simply heartbreaking to see , as you say, how little resistance something so abominable can cause. Hang in there brother! Sending love

I understand your worries about whats to come.. currently living in Hungary and our 2 year old has a bit of time left before we have to.deal with this. But she only had her fist 2 vaccines in Holland (otherwise CPS would have interfered because of our situation at the time and we were planning our "escape" ) but I dont want her to get vaccinated and here its also mandatory.. Its stressful to think about all these countries that will send CPS when you just choose a different way of learning.. Our 2 year old also speaks Dutch (of course not everything) and mixes it with English and sometimes I hear Hungarian words.. in Spain she heard Spanish.. I want to teach her more languages as it will be of great benefit in the future for her. She is also eager to learn wherever we go, and I think a normal.school will just hold her back in her learning.. I wish you good luck with the choices and hope it will work out fine..thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing your own amazing story. Am glad you have been able to avoid the CPS. I've been following the @familyprotection account for some time and am all too aware of this issue.

Indeed, school will only hold back this new generation of liberated thinkers who are not so attached to the idea of nationality. We are all children of the world and there are no boundaries between us except those which we choose to acknowledge.

Unfortunately I could not escape them with my 2 oldest.. but thats mainly due to the games of their father.. the youngest is not his that helped a lot ;-) but sharing helps healing and reading the other stories gives me insights too.. I totally agree with you I dont feel Dutch at all.. I feel like a world traveler ;) so does your family I think reading some things.. take care!

Thanks for the up & resteem :)

It's an important message we should all be aware of. Parents or not.

Hey my friend, you are more than welcome!!

Macron just wants to get them at a young age to ensure they are raised to be good little socialists. Him an his elite Euro buddies need to brainwash future tax slaves at a young age to ensure the survival of the European bureaucracy.

Cute kid.

That sounds about right. Well, they won't be brainwashing my kids ;)

Thanks for this I joined 😻

Split up the family unit so the State becomes the prominent parent in the child's life. My niece and nephews school are now unbelievably offering sleepovers for kids, I joke you not!

Wow! Hadn't heard about school sleep overs before. Nuts!

What a bastard ( Macron that is), and pathetic globalist puppet. I'm thinking maybe Berwick has the right idea just hanging out as a tourist in Mexico. You're left alone by authorities. Or "officials" as they like to call them here in the nanny nation, and all inclusive liberal utopia of Canada. Everybody line up for your vaccinations, indoctrinations, media programming and fluoridation! O Canada!

I know very little about Macron but the people here seem to love him. The people here are heavily brainwashed however so that doesn't come as any big surprise.

Sorry to hear about Canada. I always imagined it to be one of the more open minded places?

those guidelines they give for homeschooling made me laugh because the skills set listed there, is certainly lacking in all school systems! Homeschooling is the way to go! Boy am I glad my kids are done with this, its getting scarier by the day!

haha! You're not wrong there. Homeschooling is so clearly the way to go. At every turn the Universe is always pushing me towards it...

How old are your kids now?

2 of them are 30 and the eldest 32, and I, fortunately, did not have to face these challenges of schooling and vaccinations. Although the vaccines were around at the time they were not mandatory although one did feel pushed into it. After my daughter got very sick from the measles vaccine my kids never had any others, and to this day we avoid them if we can. Unfortunately sometimes when travelling they are required, especially yellow fever, so its a case of either you have the vaccination or you dont go!

Hello samstonehill, I stumbled over your post today, and I liked it. Of course not the fact what is happening, but to see reasonable parents in this crazy world.
I was forced to inform myself of laws in France few months ago and I'm sorry to tell you that France changed on the beginning of this year already the law to making 11 vaccines mandatory (before it was 3 vaccines) what is for me, or us (my wife and me) unacceptable.
My daughter was born in Chile and there was happening the shit already, so that we escaped from there as fast as possible. At the moment it looks for me it is happening all over the world. Either "unschooling" or not vaccinating is illegal. For us as anarchists that means unluckily a nomadic life till one day maybe...

Good look and stay strong.

Have you made any posts on the ESP games you guys play? If so I would like to check them out. Thank you.

I wrote this one a few weeks back: https://steemit.com/parenting/@samstonehill/a-week-of-boy-s-time-and-a-chance-to-put-esteban-s-psychic-skills-to-the-test

Since then we have developed a few other tests with drawings of fruit he has coloured in himself. When he has played a part in the creation of the 'game' he seems better at getting the answers right.

Thinking of an object of a single colour seemed to be more effective than just the colour alone...

So much to discover about how the brain develops when it is assisted without preconceptions.

Beautiful. Good on y'all. You inspire me. When i have kids I will teach and parent in a similar fashion. Esteban is lucky to have you two as his parents ❤️

Thanks! It's a pretty awesome journey with kids around us all the time. In a way they are the teachers now ;)

I bet!! I can't wait to have my own journey when the time is right! :)

Brother, you are copy/pasting this for everyone. Not a good tactic.

I am glad to hear that it is still "legal" to homeschool in France, although their requirements are pretty daunting. I don't know that I'd be very good at teaching French language, literature or history! We are expats in Panama and their current thought is you can do what is legal in your home country, so we homeschool our kids. It is amazing with all the research out there saying that a later start to school is better, that the president would disregard that and say 3 is the best time to head off to school for most of the day. Yikes. It would be so sad to only have your kids at home for 3 years before they're into the system. Do they go to school still until 18? So 3-5 would be for required preschool? All day long or just half day? Thanks for putting this article out there.

Interesting to hear about the system in Panama. I actually don't know how many hours a day pre-school is in France? Without their vaccines they won't be permitted to mix with the other kids anyway, so it is not too important in our situation. As you say thank goodness it is still legal to homeschool!

Yes the compulsory schooling mixed with the vaccine rule do make it pretty interesting. Vaccines aren't really required unless you attend school...which you have to do by age 3. Ha. Crazytown.

In my country there is a pre-school stage called maternal but the father can choose whether to enroll the infant or not, is accepted from two years of age, then enter the 4 to preschool. Let's say that it is a matter of getting used to and indigning about the rules and especially the care of the place where we leave our children

Thanks for your input! Which country are you from?

Holy moly what?!? But there's kindergarten or prep school for that right?

I think homeschooling is fine as long as they grow up to be well rounded individuals.

I understand your concern, parents will always be interested in what is best for their children.Congratulations for the activities you have done so far, and I hope that what comes is good.

Thanks! I feel sure everything will work out as it should ;)
