It is hot here. Stinking hot. Literally. A lot of people don't seem to like bath time going on the way they smell. I love bath time and I am lucky that Mummy and Daddy aren't shy of the water either (Daddy could wear pants a bit more often though...) It is weird when people are so self-absorbed they don't realise they smell bad. I smell like roses... and corn snacks.
Today I went to visit my other Aunty (Mummy's sister), so the "adults" could go into the city and have a meal and talk adult stuff like taxes and problems with their knees. It was great though as my cousins are fantastic to play with and, they have a trampoline. I used it for the first time last night but it has a design floor as you have to be able to jump for it to work. How stupid is that? I am not a great jumper.
Did I mention it was hot? 31 degrees! That is crazy for Finland and is the hottest I have ever felt in my life. We spent the evening at the beach to cool off a little while the others were out doing adulty things like folding laundry without balling it up and there were heaps of people there. I don't have any photos because the paparazzi (Daddy) wasn't there to take any. I love the beach though and we will go again tomorrow hopefully.
We also have friends coming over to meet Uncle, Aunty and eat Daddy's famous Pavlova. It is definitely going to be super hot after baking 3 of them for 5 hours straight. Perhaps we will sit outside in the garden if we can kick the pensioners who sit there gossiping about all the neighbours off. It can't be a very exciting life if all they can do is talk about what others do.
It is funny though if you think about it as the same people will say 'kids today...' when they talk about them on their phones and social media but they sit there staring at every person's life as they walk to and from their cars. I hope I never end up not only living life vicariously, but living life vicariously through people I don't even know.
Wouldn't it be more fun just to do something useful? I should take them on the trampoline maybe...
