Children of Alcoholics

Children of alcoholics are 90% more likely to become alcoholics themselves and most of the times it runs in the family. These parents don't realise their kid's know there's something wrong with them and they also don't how it affect their kids lives or their futures. It affected my mom life and her personality so much she had 3 marriages two who where assholes, one boyfriend who was mentally and emotionally abusive to her, me, and my sister; a DUI, and anger problems along with other stuff. My Mom wasn't a violent drunk and I'm thankful for that but she acted liked like a little kid when she was and I had to act like a parent to my own mother who hid her wine in MY ROOM and in MY CLOSET! Till this day I'm scared of becoming one myself along with scared for my son becoming one as well; I don't drink I don't like it I one have glass of wine once a year either at Christmas or my dad's birthday and while my mom is better now she's not really my favorite parent now because of all the emotional and mental trauma she put me through and because she relapsed 3 times it's going take me awhile.
