Concerning Parler, I do believe that social media companies do not to keep them as a customer. However, if I understand the law correctly, those companies should lose their antitrust protections from lawsuits. If the choose the content they accept then they are no longer merely publishers of what is out there and should face defamation lawsuits. Whether those suits are successful just depends on the case.

However, I must say that many liberals are coming to freedom of association in a Johnny come lately manner. They clearly did not think that businesses can select whether to serve same-sex weddings not that long ago. They wanted the law to force them into accepting clients for events they thought were immoral.

Do not get me wrong. I am not saying it it good for social media companies to reject Parler, but that it is their right to do so. Likewise the wisdom of not serving same-sex marriage can be questioned. But legally it should be the right of businesses to do so. In this I am consistent in my approach.

But there is also the aspect of not breaking your contract. Amazon had a hosting contract with Parler. Good chance they broke their contract.
