A long time ago, I used to teach English as a foreign language in Tokyo, Japan. I have this strong desire to head back to the orient, this time South Korea though.
The question is, is everyone super good-looking out there? With their love for cosmetic surgery? I've got great self-confidence normally where my appearance is concerned but what if living out there made me into something of a shrinking violet, afraid to be seen outdoors?
Ok, I'm not that superficial and I was mostly being silly above. But one can be surrounded by too many beautiful people.
Ever had cosmetic surgery or considered it?
Found you can't get what you want in your own country so would you head to South Korea to see your dreams realised?
i do not agree much with cosmetic surgery but it might be helpful if you have bad scars ...about korea i never been there but i watch a lot of drama and the actors are all so handsome...
I suppose, ultimately, if you can afford it and you want it, then each to their own. That said, I do worry for those who take it to extremes. People whose biggest problems are more likely to be of a mental variety than an aesthetic one. And the money they blow on it....
Where scars and disfigurement are concerned, in many ways it can be a life saver. I saw a documentary on a female burns victim who seemed really happy with the prospect of having extra work done in South Korea. I forget how it ended (or whether or not I actually saw the ending); I just know she seemed to be quite a remarkably positive woman considering her disfigurement. I had to admire her bravery and though it was only a 'minor' nose procedure she was wanting, who could argue with such an unfortunate person if they feel they can be made that little bit more attractive?
I must say I doubt I'd ever consider it. But a chance to work in South Korea (whilst having interesting material for steemit) is something I really must have a long hard think about. Getting a job in Japan was easy. I'm not sure about S.K. though. Hmmm....
