Ah, magnificent silence after the HF20 took most of the steem power out of the community. People are still hesitating to post, because of low rewards… Good moment to present another Fujifilm camera announced at Photokina 2018.

This time, it is a rangefinder style, medium format sensor, mirrorless model that starts at $4500. It shares electronic and sensor with its older sibling GFX 50S, but has mediocre video features. In a professional photographer’s studio, video isn’t of any importance, but the CMOS sensor sized at 43.8x32.9mm and at 51.4MP is not so much superior to the modern FF sensors. That’s the reason Fujifilm already unveiled GFX 100Megapixels Concept

In the meantime, you can develop a medium format system around the “cheap” GFX 50R.

I'm not hesitating to post because of the shenanigans... I've been too busy to get out and take photos!

The GFX 50R would be a lot of fun, but it's out of my budget range. Pretty much everything is until I'm done with the masters degree. It does look like a nice system, though. 50MP is more than I'd use, but I do appreciate the rangefinder-like aesthetic and large sensor :-)

This is far better choice for us, @fotosdenada:

Beautiful camera and very reasonably priced for its capabilities.

Thank you for your support :)
