A Short, Hypothetical Story. A Non-Fiction Short Story.steemCreated with Sketch.

Two adult men were enraged over a dispute so they agreed to engage in a street fight to the finish to finish the fight once and for all. Their friends weren't supposed to be allowed at the fight per the rules, but rules never seem to apply. The prize? A Casio watch with a value of $15 worth of Lino, however, it turns out Elvis wore it during his last performance so the stakes were high. Let's point out that the Elvis part was a rumor and speculation, it had never been factually proven or inspected or cross-referenced. It was several friends from both sides pushing the "rumor".

Plans changed, and the two gentlemen decided to gather a group of friends to join them in their fight to the finish, over a $15 watch.

Both adult men had friends that through the years had stuck with them through thick and thin, and each knew their friend would put themselves at grave risk because they also saw the intrinsic value of the Casio watch.

So ultimately, there was a group of friends that would come armed with guns, knives, lasers, poison darts, snipers, axes, and pitchforks, in this fight to the finish, over a watch!

A group of friends endowed with much endurance and much strength, in this fight to the finish, over this watch.

A group of friends who would join them as they engaged in this senseless waste of time and energy! They would bring much violence and bloodshed to this fight to the finish, over this watch.

But, just when the fight was about to begin, they noticed that the watch they so desired had been lost, just like that! "But after all, "It's just a video game and that was the coolest prize", they say, "We will just invent another watch with a similar intrinsic value, and start again!"

Who are the winners? Who are the losers? Are there any at all?

About
"Fap" is an onomatopoeic Internet slang term for the act of masturbation. The word is typically associated with men, while “Schlick” refers to female masturbation.

Origin
"Fap" is one of many onomatopoeic words often used in manga to depict the specific sound of a character masturbating. The earliest known transcription of the word "fap" online can be found in the Sexy Losers[1] webcomic titled "Video Girl Etchi" (shown below, left), published on April 28th, 1999. The comic parodied a scene from Video Girl Ai, a manga series written and illustrated by Masakazu Katsura and released between 1990 and 1993. On July 12th, 2011, Sexy Losers' artist Clay revealed in a post[8] on Tumblr that he was inspired by a Heartbroken Angels comic strip by Masahiko Kikuni depicting God masturbating when searching for a sound representing masturbation in his own strip.

That's a brilliant quote on multiple levels. Wonder if he was more of a Sun Tzu guy or just a man that saw good in people, even if they were perceived as "evil". It's of this opinion that everyone has at least a smidge of human decency and they deserve a 2nd chance or 3rd; I draw the line at 4. The issue isn't committing with Twain once you fully understand his character, although the religious verbiage might tilt one's assumption.
