This is an Alexandrian parrot. They can live up to 30 years if cared properly. The marking shows if it is a male or female. Female ones lay to 2 to 4 eggs. The Alexandrian bird talks around 8 months. They enjoy eating steamed carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower. They are intelligent and playful friends. A female parrot is called a hen. An Alexandrine bird can cost you 600$. Male Alexandrian has black around them. They are also known as Alexandrian parakeets. It takes 3 -6 months to talk. Its cage size should be 36x24 inches. They like to eat leafy green, grain, some healthy seeds, and tree nuts.
