Diego Maradona provoked trouble because of his harsh criticism of the outcome of the 2018 World Cup final between Colombia and England.

In a match that was held in Moscow on Wednesday early morning, England won a 4-3 penalty shootout after 90 minutes of the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

Maradona said that in the match the UK did a "massive robbery".

The legendary Argentine footballer added that there was a conspiracy with the referee from the United States, Mark Geiger Yang led the game.

"The main problem is the referee who leads the game. Who's that name? Mark Geiger? After I googling, he was an American. It's a conspiracy, massive robbery, "Maradona said in a television talk show from Venezuela, Telesur.

From the eyes of Maradona, England should not get a penalty. Instead, it is Harry Kane who should be punished for he who broke Carlos Sanchez.

FIFA then reacted to Maradona's statement. The international football federation declared Maradona's allusion "highly inappropriate".

FIFA also cited allegations about the conspiracy of Geiger's referee with Britain absolutely nothing.

"FIFA issued a stern rebuke against comments that attacked match officials. We think they have shown a positive work in leading a high-powered game, "the official FIFA statement said, responding to Maradona's allegations about the Kalikong kong at the 2018 World Cup.
