四十二章经
釋迦牟尼佛說：出家的沙門，只要斷絕貪欲，認識自己的本性，領會最深的佛理，了悟無為無不為的佛法，內心不貪戀妄念，身外沒有什麼貪求，心境不執著在修道上，而實際卻處處在奉行佛道，不要做惡事，造惡業，沒有妄念，沒有虛妄的行為，修到極點無可再修，已經得道，不需再證，不需要再經歷成佛的各個階位，而自己自然就達到最高的果位，這樣的沙門就叫做成道了。
