Today is the start of a new week,
Will I find the answers I do seek?
Will the ill-luck of the past finally go?
Will the future brighten ~ even if slow?
Three years of good fortune have now passed,
I’d hoped it would forever last,
But that’s not the way HE has for us,
HE must test our Faith, ~ in HIM ~ our Trust.
When we lie at the bottom, in despair,
Will we learn to overcome and repair,
Look up to the Future, forget the Past,
Take hold of our Lives, Let the Die be cast?
Through the Black Clouds we must go,
Daily, Weekly, not fast, but slow,
Seeking for Comfort, have Faith in HIM,
That we’ll not drown, but forward will swim.
There’s blue on the Horizon to be found,
Let’s open the curtain of our despair,
Slowly we work to rebuild our Lives,
Knowing HE’s with us, and HE does .
