If you'd ask me to choose between red wine and Rose', then I would choose the latter.... I love both dry and semi-sweet. Rose' wines are produced from grapes that could also be a combination of both white and red varieties. There are so many wineries in Spain and a bottle normally costs lesser than in Central Europe. A bottle of Mateus Rose´ ( from Portugal) cost between 5.00-6.00 Euros in Vienna, while in Andalucia, its a bit over 3.00 Euros. Logistic wise, Portugal is just next to Andalucia so the transport cost are lesser than if you would export it to the rest of Europe.
Healthwise, Rose' has more antioxidant than red or white wine. I drink half glass in the evening while movie streaming. Studies and researches claimed it could reduce risk of heart disease as well as regulate blood pressure..It also contains less alcohol and lesser calories than red and white wines. If you can... drink moderately, since it can only be beneficial to health, and so here's to our health.... Cheers!
