RETRACE YOUR STEPS AND DO WHATS RIGHT

Hello Steemians, happy new week to you.
My message of inspiration for today stems from the book of 1 Chronicles 7:14-if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Sometimes we wonder why things dont go well with us. Opportunities pass us by and instead of gaining more, we loose. Darkness just consumes you.

Have you taken time to reexamine the actions you carry out on a daily routine? Are they all right?.
There are some actions that we do that hinder future blessings from God and things end up going badly. You can't spend your time flirting around with every male or female you see and think you'll attain a satisfactory level of respect from others and self-satisfaction in yourself. You definitely can plant an apple and hope to harvest mangoes. It doesn't work that way. You reap what you sow!
What is that sin you keep committing and refuse to let go of. It could be thievery, lying, oppression of the innocent, pride, fornication, adultery etc-Gal 5:19-21, psalm 107:34.

Retrace your steps, do things the right way and watch things take better shape for you. Barrenness and unfruitfulness will surely not be mentioned with regards to you-the Deut 7:14.
Strive to achieve a life of purpose and satisfaction.
Some sins in form of bad habits, words and thoughts may be difficult to get over; But then you cant get what you want if you don't create it either mentally or otherwise! You wish to stop a bad habit, decide within yourself to stop it and create a mental picture of ways in which you can start doing the right thing and preventing that sin from taking over! It starts in the mind. Try to win the battle of the mind. Accept the fact that you are human and you need help, Ask God for that help, get a good friend to help and support you through it all. Know that you control what comes in and leaves your mind. Make a conscious effort to CHOOSE to think right and do right. Try to stand, fall but stand up again,crawl if need be until you can stand firm, walk and then run.
It's not Magic, it's a process. Don't be too hard on yourself and yet don't be too lenient to allow indiscipline. Just mentally, spiritually and then physically move away from the sin that tries to ensnare you.
Remember, the God that watched you and allowed you start this journey away from that sin will surely bring you to an expected end where you enjoy true freedom -phillipians 1:6.
