Have a nice day ahead Steemians!
First of all, may I say thank you to @moncia90 and congratulations to this 20th episode of his initiative. Awesome my dear!
Before I proceed I would like to share a link about the @plankton.token owned by our beloved @mermaidvampire and @cadawg, a good project aim for the plankton benefits in steemit.
Today our theme is about childhood and I was so happy upon reading the childhood experienced of our fellow Steemian @d00k13. I was touched how he underwent his childhood life.
They are my grandchildren because I have no picture during my childhood life. Look at them how messy they are while eating ice cream which was I never experienced during childhood.
I would like to share my childhood life today. Please hold on your tears as it is all about drama. Supposed to be a happy moment but life was not the same with me. But there is no regret at all. So many times I cried but those tears brought me how I am stronger woman today.
She is my niece but they told me that we are looked-alike. They told me that this is my younger version.
To begin with, I am the first born and the eldest child from my 16 years old mother and an 18 years old father. They got married at earlier stage to their life. They were so happy that I was then a very healthy baby. Many people loved me and of course my family. But my mother was too young to have me that made her getting mad at me all the time. She was in her adjustment period. My grandmother told me that she was too lazy before. When I was growing, I remembered how harst the way she disciplined me. The early stage of 5 years old I already remembered the moment I had with my parent. My father was a good father that never hitted me anything but my mother slapped me, spank me with woods or anything on her hand she held on her hands. I remembered all th pained when her palm hitted my face so badly. She easily slapped my face and her palm marked to my face. Y9
When I was 6 years old, I already knew how to cooked food for us. They were just a farmer and our life relied everything from the farmland's harvest. I was also taking good care of my siblings. In one word, I was already making and taking care of my responsibility to parent and siblings. Parting my effort to my parent at earlier stage made me a the strongest woman in the world today.
When I was 9 years old, l was already earning money from working in a farmland of my grandparent. They paid for me when I helped them removing weeds or grasses growing with the corn planted. I gave my earning to my parent.
I did not able to play so much with children around. My mother was getting angry when I played outside. She trained me so well but it was an abusive act according to my neighbor. And for most of the time, when I got small mistake, she quickly hitted me all the time.
I was an academic consistent in my school but my mother let me absent from the class to take good care of my little siblings. Do you know how I cried on that moment? But I was speechless, I never say No! with one word request from my mother. I obeyed her, my parent all the time and or course I love them so much.
Until one day after my 9th birthday, I decided to drink a kerosene. I tried to kill myself. I committed suicide. I thought I would die on that day, until now they never knew it. I drunk a cup of kerosene because l felt tired to my life before and I could not resist my mother policies for me. I drunk it at night not knowing that I could wake up in the morning. I kissed my one brother and one sister. My mother was pregnant on that time. I said goodbye to my siblings but I never said goodbye to my parent. In the afternoon before I slept, I went to the house of my grandparent and hugged them.
Do you know what happened in the morning? I was alived! God never took my life and here I am today! 49 years of existence in this world! I survived the test of life. My childhood life challenge had gone but the memories is here in my heart. GOD made everything for me to survived.
When I realized I was alived, I went to the church. It was Sunday and attended Sunday school. I thanked the Lord God that I was alived!
Despite ot getting absent from class, I graduated Salutatorian in our elementary school. I got scholarship education for high school and graduated.
But so sad, I never graduated in my college. More 2 years to went on but another trials had happened to me. A tragic life and what could I say now is Lord, thy will be Done!
This is only a part of my childhood life. Many things, a long story do tell but my heart now is aching and teardrop is really falling.
I just want to let you know, I never hate my mother and I understood her adjustment period of her supposed to be teenager's life but turned into an early motherhood.
WORDS OF WISDOM I APPLIED from my childhood until now.
"CHILDREN OBEY THE PARENTS IN THE LORD FOR THIS IS RIGHT"
EPHESIANS 6:1
"GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN'T AND WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE"
Again, thank you @moncia90
I would like to tag Ma'am @melinda010100, Ma'am, I remember when you ask me why you leave your country and family just for money? Now if you can read this story, maybe you can understand me now. And @d00k13 I promised you to share with you my story because your story is a big flipped side to my life story.
Thank you so much.
