Hallo steemian!!
Pada kesempatan ini saya menceritakan tentang suatu tradisi di daerah kami saat berlangsungnya pesta pernikahan.
Pernikahan dimulai dengan akad nikah yang menandakan seseorang sudah mengakhiri hidup kesendiriannya dan mulai berumah tangga. Setelah akad nikah digelarlah beberapa acara adat seperti pesta sebagai ungkapan kegembiraan atas berlangsungnya pernikahan tersebut dengan menyediakan makanan untuk disajikan kepada kerabat dan para undangan lain.
Pada hari tersebut juga berlangsung acara Intat Dara Baroe yaitu mengantar pengantin perempuan ke kediaman keluarga pengantin laki-laki (lintoe baroe). Sampai di rumah lintoe baroe sang dara baroe disambut bagaikan ratu oleh keluaga pengantin laki-laki.
Pada kesempatan tersebut untuk menyambut dara baroe juga tampil tarian terima tamu yaitu tari ranub lam puan yaitu tari tradisional Aceh yang dimainkan oleh anak-anak.

Setelah selesai penyambutan, kedua pengantin dipersilahkan duduk di pelaminan dan juga berfoto bersama keluarga.
Begitulah kegembiraan saat berlangsungnya acara pesta pernikahan yaitu intat dara baroe

Intat Dara Baroe was held on that day, which took the bride to the residence of the groom's family (lintoe baroe). Arriving at your new loe house, the virgin is welcomed like a queen by the groom's family.
