一次聚会，媳妇高中同学，说他对机械比较感兴趣，也自己看了不少相关知识。问我一个问题：汽车变速器都发展了百年了，换挡直接换过去就行，尺寸可以测啊，为啥中国技术上还是落后。
面对一个有些了解的外行人，我需要回避专业词汇，且不能讲到细节，一时间竟然不知该如何表达。确实想想原理确实简单，不就是从一个档位换到另外一个档位吗？不就是一对齿轮换到另外一对齿轮吗？
我只能告诉他，抄是抄不到全部细节的，就算大部分尺寸全部抄来，工况和匹配不一致，结果也是不一样的。同时满足功能的同时，性能差距都是因为一些技术细节，这个需要自己积累，抄不来，也问不到。
虽然这么说了，但是总觉得自己没表达清楚，对于外行来说，把专业的话转换成白话，就有点迟钝了。
