The summer here is an ongoing series of parties that never seem to end. One starts as the other ends and can cause weekends to become one haze of a long, fun filled event that passes in an instant. The beer flows easily and hips move regularly but I've been more focused these days on getting better at dedicating my weekends to productive periods of making art and generally keeping it chilled. All it takes sometimes is two beers and before you know it it's 6 am in the morning and you're on the metro wondering how the night got to that stage.
This was taken at a techno beach party towards the airport. They hold this party once a year (unfortunately got cancelled this year) but is well worth it if you like open air techno parties. It's free as well which is always a plus. Location wise, you can't really go wrong with hosting a party on the beach. In the early hours of the morning, we got stuck in the rain trying to get a taxi back to the city. A few hundred tired party people all trying to get a taxi home at the same time in a place where taxis don't often pass, as you can imagine, was lovely. All part of the fun I guess.
