We all have grown up watching many interesting cartoons and cinemas. The sci-fi based cinemas always have made us more curious about the meaning and beauty of Science. Science is no new subject it’s just everything you see around you- it’s the nature, how it works and the laws that make it work that way!
Nature appears very simple however is is not! The science helps us to understand the complexity involved in it which is hidden in its simple appearance.
Such a thing about science that sci-fi movies or cartoons have made is curious about is the time travel! Time is another wierd thing that forms a new dimension of its own in the 3D space (read about this Here ) Till today science has not been able to experiment time travel. Many believe that strange objects in the universe like Black holes and wormholes are a pathway to time travel. However since it hasn’t been proved experintally.. we cant arrive on the conclusion yet. According to quantum mechanics too, time travel is probable or can occur.
Let us now focus on the topic,
We all know how large. That how many millions of billions of light years alart galaxies are located and even light- the fastest thing we know takes millions of years to move between them. The universe is very large. Some say it is infinite as it cannot be finite according to thermodynamic and other laws. Hence there are some parts of the universe trillions or quadrillions loght years away from where light has still not reached us here on our planet.
So imagine an observer that is several light years away fron us. The light from the Earth that reaches him must have left our planet miilion years ago. So in some sense we can say that at any time, the observer in some or the other part of the universe is observing your past. Thought this cannot be termed as a time travel, we can consider it to be a VIRTUAL time travel.
