Congratulations to all the selected winners @dasudi and @lirvic .I have been enjoying your pastry teaching lessons so well and it’s worths interesting with good lessons given everyweek. But I really have a worry in choices of selecting the winners at the end of your lessons for the week .If you look critically you see that you people give bunches of 10 to more than 9 students as rating grade in the course who has participated .

At the end of the week you select four people as the best having 10points .My worry here is what happened to the rest of more than 5 people left with grading of 10points without been selected amongs best .How can you explain they were not selected amongst these best students, also having a grades of 10. Please can you clearify doubt course facilitators to tell me the criteria of choosing best winners for the week amongst more than 9people having the same grades ?

Friend, unfortunately we cannot select all the students, that is no longer in our hands, all the students made excellent participations, and we are valuing it. Fortunately, the curator supported almost all the students, and the selection does not depend solely on the evaluation, I think several students have this great confusion in all the courses, they think that just by obtaining a high grade they will be selected, we take into account The fulfillment of the tasks, the demonstration and the effort that the student has has taken into account.

@lirvic I think as for the case of selection that you have just mentioned it does not depend on grades .Does not really sound good .I think @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 should clarify us with this . I don’t see any needs of grading students that at the end . it’s not taken into consideration, what the needs of grading students ????.

I think selection should be focused on grades given to students who merit no matter how they received supports from Steemcurator 01 and Steemcurator02people put in so much effort to participate in these learning teaching lessons therefore if the merit a selection by their good’s performance it should given to them .

As for grades I think grading should also be adjusted. No matter how people participate well in a lesson there most be a slides differences in the allocation of marks .If your think avoid grading alot of people with bunches of 10 as grades .It’s will be easy to make the best selection at the end of the week .

There, is no way you can grades more than 10people with 10 and it will be easy to do best selection for the week .Almost all these 10 people with 10 will have high expectations to be amongst the best selected students for the week .Which at the end of the day if they are not selected makes them to feel very disappointed. Discouraging hardwork from students

@lirvic @dasudi - as highlighted by @wirngo you have a problem with your grading.

As mentioned in the @stemmitblog post...

The posts should be awarded a grade marked out of 10 according to how well they have completed the assignment tasks. We very much encourage teachers to design their homework assignments with a sufficient level of difficulty that they will be able to award a good spread of grades and not have everyone bunched up with 9’s and 10’s.

We understand, sir. We will be evaluating this situation to improve and avoid the problem. Thank you for the clarification.

Sir, excuse me, but I will give my honest opinion, this is not about having users with scores between 9 and 10 grouped together, the problem that is occurring is that students get upset when they are not selected, and we are seeing this in different courses, yes They evaluate themselves with a score less than 10, they get upset because they immediately think that they are not going to win, and if they evaluate themselves with a 9-10 and they are not selected, they also get upset because they believe that upon receiving that score they will be selected among the winners, they try not to. Learning is what it seems to me but receiving a vote, and I could understand but what I cannot understand is that they want to be selected at any cost because otherwise they complain by putting our work in between.

But if the problem is due to the score, we will be carrying out a more strict evaluation to avoid inconveniences.

Teachers need to focus on making their course not too difficult and as many people as possible can join it. If the course is difficult then very few people will participate in it. It is also important to ensure that grades are given honestly and not with favoritism.

If you design your courses and your grading to give a wider spread of grades you won't have the problem so much.

This observation is valid. I have been thinking same, in as much as the have the final say on winners they should be Fair enough because these learning challenge is not easy .

Greetings my friend! For us it is a pleasure that you are enjoying each of the lessons week after week! Which until now you have done a good job and we value it like the rest of the participants, for us it is very hard to discourage a user with a low score all where the user shows effort and dedication for each of the lessons, We appreciate that you invest time and money in the ingredients to be used and for us it is a lack of respect that a user who has fully completed each of the tasks is not given a good score, each one has their criteria and their perspectives and each The grade that was awarded was fair from our point of view. We chose this week's winners together according to the score obtained and the personal criteria of the pastry team. We wish that all of them were winners but we only have to select four, according to what is established by #steemitblog. It is very difficult to keep everyone happy, because everyone has their own criteria and point of view.
