These #pasturedquail sure do love it when they get on their fresh grass! It’s always a treat to watch them their first few moments in their new area. They spend a lot of time hunting for bugs and seeds and after a few hours, they settle right in and the males start calling out. .
The beauty before the meal that we get to witness is just as great as the meal itself. I post this because if our quail dinner pics from last night. But it sometimes needs to be reminded that we give these animals the best life possible...their whole lives. And as Joel Salatin says, they only have one bad day.
