Patreon, manyvids, onlyfans are e-thot monetisation platforms - but you knew that already.

Patreon, onlyfans, manyvids et al. are platforms for thots. What was originally a novel idea to solve de-platformed, de-monetized content creators has turned into essentially a bucket shop for sex workers in the digital age.

It is not my place nor anyone else's to determine what you choose to do with your time, your life, your body. But that's not going to stop me arguing the reasons why I think these platforms are overall negative.

Thots are thriving on these glorified pay to access pornographic platforms and in a way, that's better than having the industry run by a few cronies who dictate what people want to see. The problem is, girls who are barely legal are attracted to the attention and money making prospect that the ante is upped further and further to the point that these platforms serve as nothing more than subscription hubs for sex workers. Should every young girl wishing to actually make a decent living be aspiring to be one of these e-thots who self aggrandise and sell smut content? Well, if the explosion of instagram and social media has any trends to learn from, then we can only expect these new platforms to follow suit.

Women are much more than objects and yet, those who sell themselves on these platforms objectify themselves for a living. The age old career of being an object of desire and lust has moved on from the streets and to the internet. It's a lot safer than before, and you'll probably make a whole lot more money. But is that what you want your life achievement to be? Women are equally important in their contribution to society in the sense that they have far more to offer than just their physical traits. Being attractive is something you're born with, but the majority of value contributors to society have put in life times of dedication to their craft. Being attractive isn't a craft. Showing skin isn't an acquired skill. In the short time they've used their youth to become a successful money making e-thot, they have made great opportunity cost in securing the necessary skills to contribute to society in other ways once they've worn out their welcome.

People who can no longer make a living being an e-thot proceed to become managers of them. And then we see the new digital age pimps appear. The entrepreneurs who want to monetise smut even further and take advantage of young and insecure girls who just want a bit of attention and pocket money.

Patreon can be so much more than a paid for smut platform but the reality is, the demand isn't there. Human beings are going to give in to carnal desires which will empower these thots for long as these platforms continue to support them.
