Hello Steemians..
This is my submission for the second term of the basic course of #pattern-s22w2 taught under the instruction of teacher @lunasilver. Very happy to have learned the first lesson very well and thank teacher @lunasilver for that. And I hope to do this 2nd homework task to the best of my ability .
MATERIALS
🔹️Sheet of paper
🔹️Graphite pencil
🔹️Pen
🔹️Measuring tape
🔹️Rubber
🔹️ Rule
As usual, my daughter's measurements were very similar to section 02 of the standard size chart so I use those values.
Need measurements,
- Trouser length or outer length - 54 cm
- 1/4 of the hip circumference. - 58 cm
- Shot stop. - 15 cm
- 1/4 part of the waist circumference. - 50 cm
- 1/4 of the knee circumference. - 29 cm
- 1/4 part of the contour of the hem. - 31 cm
1.Trouser length
For this, follow the side seam of the leg. It can be measured from the top of the waist to the ankle joint of the leg.
2.Hip circumference
For this, stand straight with your feet together and wrap the measuring tape completely around the butt. You can easily fit your little finger under the tape so that the tape is not tight, and then take the measurements.
3.waist circumference.
Find the top of your hip bone and the bottom of your ribcage. Then breathe normally and Place the tape in the middle between these points, in line with your belly buttonWrap the belt loosely around your waist so that one finger fits inside. Here the tape should be tight but not too tight.
4.knee circumference.
Knee circumference is the measurement around your knee and to measure the circumference of your knee, wrap the tape measure around the knee. Then make sure to keep the tape measure horizontal to the floor as you measure the knee circumference.
ok let's start to draw a pattern..
FRONT PATTERN
- First draw a rectangle with the measurements of the pant length and 1/4 of the hip circumference ( 14.5 cm x 54 cm ).Then write the letters A, B, C, D on each corner.
Point 1: Mark both A to D and B to C shot stop (15 cm) measurement lines.
Point 2: On the AB line, from B to A ,mark 1 cm.
Point 3: From point 2 to B, mark 1/4 of the waist.
( 50 /4 = 12.5 cm)Point 4: Measure and mark halfway between the line between A and 1. (15/2=7 cm)
Point 5: Divide row 1 by 4, (14.5 / 4 = 3.6 cm) take the result outside the box and extend row 1.Mark this as 5°A on the line leading to point A.
Point 6: Take half of the measurement on the line joining points 1 and 5, and this measurement is taken to the hem line establishing the hem.
Point 7: We divide the value of row 6 in two and add 5 cm to it and mark it.
(18.5/2 + 5 cm = 14.25) It will be the height of the knee.
Point 8: Subtract 1 cm from the 1/4 knee contour value. Mark that value at one end of point 7.
(29 /4 - 1 = 6.25 cm)Point 9: 1 cm less than half of the lower contour. Mark all sides.( 31/4 -1= 6.75)
Then,
2 with 5 in a straight line
3 with 4 in a half curve
5 with 5.a deep curve
5 with 8 in a straight line
8 with 9 in a straight line
8 with 1 in a straight line
connect.
REAR PATTERN
- Point 1: Marking Shot height (15 cm) from A to D.
- Point 2: Mark 2 cm from A to B.
- Point 3: 2 up and out of the box, 2 cm.
Point 4: Measure diagonally from 3 to B and add 2cm to one fourth of the waist circumference.
(50/4 + 2= 14.5)point 5: Measure and draw out of the box. Take half of the line and mark on the line going up towards A. This is point 5.A.
Point 6: Measure the entire line between 5 and 1 and take half and mark it and transfer it to the line DC. This line is the hem of the pants.
(14.5/2 = 7.25)Point 7: Measure the entire row 6, take half and add 5 cm to it. Add and move the line DC, up from this 6, find the point 7. (18.1/ 2 + 5= 14.5)
Point 8: Take a quarter of the knee contour, add one centimeter to it and divide from point 7 to each side.
Point 9: At the 6th point of the fringe, add a quarter of the fringe circumference and 1 cm to it and distribute from 6 to each side.
Point 10: Measure half of the 4 - 3 line and mark it.
point 11: Then for the dart mark 6cm or below this
point and from 10, 1cm to either side.
3 with 4 with gentle curves
3 with 5 straight
4 with 8 straight
8 with 9 straight
5.a with 5 deep curves
A straight line with 5 with 8
8 with 9 straight
11 with 10 straight and made the clamp.
Transformation
Front pocket and flap, for a pair of trousers.
The tab will be slightly longer than the clasp, if the clasp measures 10 cm, the tab will be 12 cm. The width of one side is 2 cm and the other side is 4 cm.
This pocket is 10 cm. Wide, drawn from crotch line to waist and pocket opening 3 to A 4 cm. It is worn and taken separately.
Back pocket
Located at point 10 and measuring 6 cm on each side and 15 cm in length, it has a squared pocket.

Hola, querida amiga.
@lunasilver
