Fresh Fruit Pavlova

You know it's summer time when the pavlova bases start flying off the supermarket shelves (for those too lazy to make their own... like us). The fresh fruit is in season, and a nice light pavlova is the dessert of choice on a hot summers evening. With the mangoes I got last week now ripe and ready to eat, Mrs MJ decided, at the kids' request, to make us a pavlova for desert.

How's this?

Raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, mango, and some passionfruit paste, all lumped together with fresh thick cream on top of the meringue base. Oh! And fresh cherries!! Delicious!!

Between the four of us, we ate the whole thing in one go, it was sooooo goood!!!
