You guys know that I love air clay and, I would have wanted to make more aside from the fact that I do not have any more stock. I did not even imagine doing this but, I am doing it now. Do you want to learn how to fold a paper box?
Origami is an ancient Japanese art of paper folding without the use of paper adhesives or support. So here we go:
Let's start with 2 pieces of origami paper. It is still perfectly acceptable to cut 2 pieces of paper together but, I find it more convenient to just buy pre cut origami paper. Besides, I do not want to concentrate on the cutting. More folding. Less cutting.
Fold one paper in half.
You'll have something that looks like this.
Open the paper and repeat on the opposite side. When you're done, you'll have something that looks like this:
Fold.
Fold on both sides and you'll have something that looks like this.
unfold.
support the sides
Lift the other end (the "triangle side") toward the center. It will automatically fold into this
repeat on the other side to have something that looks like this.
do the same with the other piece of paper to get these

bottom view (see how snugly the boxes fit together)
I practically use this as a substitute gift boxes for trinkets sometimes. I know. I should have taught you these last Christmas but, I was just too obsessed with the airclay.
Anyway, here it is and, I will be posting more origami in the next few days. I promise.
that is pretty cute - I did origami a very long time ago - made frogs and crane birds and boxes :)
