These operations are carried out under conditions that comply with the best banking and IT security standards, the bank assures. In addition, the BPAY electronic wallet complies with privacy standards. The application also gives the customer the opportunity to follow the history of the transactions he has made on his electronic wallet.

With the launch of this new M-payment service, the Banque Populaire enriches its offer and aims to reduce the use of cash and traditional means of payment such as checks.

For the customer, the M-payment is a means of payment and money transfer that can be made from anywhere, once you have a smartphone, the application and a internet access (ADSL, 3G or 4G). The app runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and prevents the customer from moving around with too much cash.

On the occasion of the launch of this solution, Laïdi El Wardi, General Manager at the Central People's Bank, said that "the People's Bank adds, a new brick to its digital offering and makes basic banking accessible to the largest number".
