Five O'Clock Tea At Any TimesteemCreated with Sketch.

The origin of tea is China, it arrived to Europe in the late 16th century and to my country (on Balkan peninsula) almost 300 years later but never became part of the daily routine. On the other hand, we are very loyal to folk medicine, so if someone drinks tea, it means at least severe cold.

In contrary to tea, the cult of coffee is extremely strong. I drink them both in large quantities: coffee for busy days and tea for special moments. My relaxing time is always spiced up with good tea, it slows down time and thought, power up creativity, makes loneliness comfortable and socializing even more pleasant. But what would be tea without some delicious cakes!?

As it should be, tea cookies from the photos are the product of a tea-party with my very dear friend. The biscuit is dominated by zested and juiced lemon what gives perfect match with not overly sweet glaze. I am a big lover of foods that, in addition to good taste, looks good, especially when it bestow. So we stayed for hours until the last packaging was made but with tea company it was more a meditation than serious work.
