PEACEMAKERS — SteemCN

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9

When a person becomes born again, Jesus Christ gives the person ability to be a peacemaker.

It is one thing to have the ability to make peace and another to make use of that ability to get the job done,

The one who is not born again has no peace with God, therefore, it is the responsibility of the Christian to bring such a person to Christ to reconcile him to the Father.

If we do this then we can be called peacemakers hence, the true children of God.

Furthermore, the children of God must ensure that there is peace amongst men and wherever they find themselves.

In all, they say "charity begins at home," therefore, a good peacemaker must be at peace with all men first before extending same to the society. What someone don't have he/she cannot give to someone else.

There is something that l have learnt from the scripture and that's to live a life void of offence to God and to man; to have nothing against any man in my heart no matter the level of provocation or wrong against me.

As l conclude, please, ensure you live a life void of offence against God and man; bear no grudges against any man no matter what they did to you. Learn to always forgive people even if they did not ask for forgiveness and finally, make peace everywhere you find yourself.

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, because they will be called sons of God” (Matt. 5:9). Into a world that is ugly with violence and hate, Jesus sends us as peacemakers. We aren’t given the choice of whether or not we would like to be peacemakers and we certainly aren’t given the choice of what kind of world we would like to live in. As bad as things may be, this is the only world we have and if we are going to be true to our Lord, we must be peacemakers.

Very correct @fatherfaith but is unfortunate that many doesn't know about this calling and thereby make trouble at slightest provocation.
