That is a bug with bts- prefix accounts right now with the initial GUI v0.1 release. The workaround is to create a new account with the Sign Up function, and transfer PPY there to vote with your stake. It's also fine to just wait for the next release when this should be fixed.

    Thanks I did exactly that i.e I created a new account and transferred the funds there. It was not an easy process however with the great support from @bitcoinsig did figure it out.
