I was 31 years old when I purchased my first Penthouse magazine. Being raised Mormon, I felt like I was committing a mortal sin and I tried like hell to look into that cashier's eyes like I did this all the time, but I sure as hell hoped she didn't know me.
Yea, the pictorials were great but it was the Unabomber's Manifesto that I wanted my hands on. Yes, I looked at the women firstly but afterwards I started reading and I found this crazy brilliant man not only made perfect sense but I, myself, could follow his vision of the future whereby technology and the inherent lack of corporate conscience would eventually lead us and our political system to indentured servitude; both to technology and the empowered corporation. I was flabbergasted.
My now exMormon tribalism has always seen an agrarian-based existence to be a natural place for man and man's future, and any unnatural force that deviates man from that existence only serves to defeat man. Marshalling power and control away from the masses and into the hands of the few only serves to defeat the masses as the will of the few is always associated with man's moral failures magnified.
State's rights lost to the federal government only served to build a superhighway that brought us to, and beyond, our present predicaments. And then technology gave "them" the power to drive us all to nonexistence at hypersonic speeds. Add the existence of that omnipresent ultimate evil who connives with those who think themselves safe from the connivers and the ball starts to gain momentum to that fetid finish line that we cannot even fathom.
Most of the World is agrarian in nature and what is to come will hardly affect them but this fake existence we enjoy will be paying 100 fold.
