How sitting bull got his name

Sitting Bull originally named slow got his name by being himself. He was slow since birth but he thought things through when he set his mind.strong was his will
he learned to ride the horses better than his fellow warriors and raced many horses.Turning a warriors age which i forgot which age but was around 14 to 16 he followed his father and the warriors with his horse stating hes going. When the warriors and Sitting Bull was on the hill Sittinf Bull rushed forward with the coo stick in his hand he hit the other warrior who was assinoboine or crow that almost shot him Sitting Bull knocking him back and scaring the other assiniboine or crow warriors away. Finally as the buffalo came to his father recieving four names that he heard the buffalo say as the buffalo went through his camp he gives Tȟatȟáŋka Íyotake, which in the Lakota language means "Buffalo Bull Who Sits Down", would later be abbreviated to "Sitting Bull" to his so. Slow who is now Sitting Bull. Sitting Bull's father was known as Jumping Bull as well.
