Many countries around the globe are taking steps to save the world and our mother earth. People have started realizing the importance of nature and have started implementing new ways to save it. But still there is a slow progress and mother earth is crying for help. The emission of greenhouse gases is the main cause of constant climate change.

Top 5 Most polluting Countries are:

1. Japan

Japan is the largest consumer of fossil fuels around the globe. It ranks fifth in the list of emission of greenhouse gases, the main cause of this situation is fast urban development and industrial development.

2. India

India is well-known for its pollution and population around the world. According to the world health organization, India has the largest number of polluted cities. As time is passing by, the use of fossil fuels is increasing, the reason for this is urbanization, industrialization, population, etc. But the Indian law has a law for the protection of the air quality.

3. China

China is also a country very well-known for its population and pollution. China emits harmful gases more than any other country causing serious damage to the environment. As a result, the country has experienced red alerts for pollution.

4. Russia

Russia has the highest rate of deforestation and hunting. The country is highly dependent for oil, coal, fossil fuels etc. It is also facing huge environmental issues for the past few years.

5. USA

The USA is very well-known for its modern thought and ideas, a country with well-educated people but still lacking behind. It is the global business and industrial powerhouse of the world but the pollution level has not decreased significantly.

But many countries around the world have taken environmental health as a very important aspect. It's our responsibility as humans to save the world and take care of our mother because, in the end, we are the people who will use it as a resource.
