Many youths in our society doesn't have peace because of their dangerous mind they have and they always like oppressing people but when you have peace ,you will have rest of mind.
Therefore peace is a situation of rest of mind for everybody in a society or in a family, there is no serious misunderstanding that could lead to conflict, people go about their lawful duties without being afraid of anything, peace ensure progress in many society where there is peace people face their duties and contribute to the development of the society.

• Positive peace
• Negative peace : This is when all groups groups to a conflict agree to allow peace to reign but there may still be some grudges because they are not completely satisfied with the settlement of all issue at stake. They express agreement in the open, just because the authority that settle the matters, for example the court of say that one group is right and the other is wrong, this is judgement by authorities, this group that is said to lose it win will not bring complete peace to the society, it only give forced peace.
• Positive peace : this is when people are generally happy when no one has any grudges against the other, when everybody goes about his or her duties without any fear.
Importance of peace in the society
• it ensure unity and progress in the society
• it makes people feel secure to work and play without fear
• it preserves the society as there is no war or arrest that can lead to any form of destruction
• it make for stable society with happy and usually contented people

Ways of preventing peace in the society
• Tolerance : People try all they could by showing understanding of individuals difference and therefore tolerating the way people behave.
• Social justice : The society that promotes peace ensure that there is social justice people in authority do not use their power and influence to cheat or oppress others, if they do there must be an effective law to protect it or oppress place.
• Protection of human right : In the constitution of all society the fundamental human rights are protected, when anybody feels that his or her right are abused person would work to fight to ensure this is not done, where people want peace nobody tries to abuse or deny his or her fundamental human rights.
• Conflict resolution : What disturbs peace in a society is conflict and out break of violence, some people believe that it is through creating conflict and violence that they can have what they want, where we have such people the society must ensure all matters that could cause conflict or be used to unleash violence on the society are resolved quickly.
