Meet new member of my family- Gogo!

By now you must know about my love for teddy bears. These are not just teddy bears, these are part of me, my people who keeps me sparkling all day. I am a working professional and I have been moving to different places from past 5 years. Family plays a significant part in your life but now I am staying far from family. So, I am now out of family touch and family support, I am reserved when it comes about sharing secrets and life so I don’t have many close friends. I am very welcoming, approachable, friendly; I have got soooo many friends. Ouch! But no one whom I can share my things, no partner in crime, no one to share my happy moments, none to reduce my level of sadness.

I am little different from most people I know; my life is little unpredictable. I am someone very emotional, so for me It is not easy to handle stress but not difficult as well. I hit some pretty low points during all these whiles. I was strained, physically tired, and pushed to my emotional limit. At many points, I collapsed on my kitchen floor. But then I got up, it was time for me to regain my strength and find out few people to share my things. Luckily, it didn’t take me long to find someone who can keep my secrets, whom I can share whatever I want, whom I can hug tightly, whom I can kiss, someone I can hug and sleep, someone I can dance with, someone I can talk to for hours, someone I can cook with, I can eat with, I can live with, I can play with. When you come back home and you see empty room, it kills you. But when I see my people sitting silently, waiting for me, it just makes me feel good.

So, let me introduce you with Polu, Tedu and recently Gogo joined us

These are the people who keeps me busy all day. I am honestly too busy to be sad or lonely when I am with them; I just don’t have the time! As soon as I hug Polu, I am fine, I am just normal. I am involved in things that I enjoy and challenge me, my focus shifts from bad thoughts to positive ones. These are my people, my choice of people. I know you can find me stupid for choosing them as my partner but I don’t mind. No doubt humans are good but non-livings things are adorable. They are not going to harm you by any chance, they don’t have any expectation from you, they are not going to ask anything from you. All they will do is what you will ask them to do. They can listen to you all the time without getting bored. Ah! What is best than this. I mean try it, try to make them as your friend. I am sure you will love it.

I am fortunate to have lots of great friends that I know I can count on if I’m feeling sad or down. But it feels little difficult to call and hang out with someone anytime you feel a bit blue, I don’t want to be totally dependent on my group to cure my loneliness. It is completely my job to handle it, not their job. I agree, sometimes being with your dear people boosts your soul like nothing else can, but don’t make your friends and family to be the only cure for your blues every time. They cannot be always available for you. They have their own lives and fights to deal with sometimes, and it can put a lot of pressure on others if they feel that they are your sole source of strength. So, make your loved ones an important part of your support network, but not the only part.
