"FOR the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. In this you have done foolishly; therefore from now on you shall have wars.”
2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)
• One of the signs that your Heart, thoughts and intentions, is changing or transforming, is, you would not find it difficult to express the love of God which was deposited or poured out in your heart by the Holy Spirit at New birth: "NOW HOPE DOES NOT DISAPPOINT, BECAUSE THE LOVE OF GOD HAS BEEN POURED OUT IN OUR HEARTS BY THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO WAS GIVEN TO US" (Romans 5:5 NKJV).
- If you exercised or practiced the love, It would not be difficult for it to produce maximally or grow or increase in your life. It is the lack of exercise or failure to give expression to It through the regular practice that inhibits or restrains it.
- The attributes of this God's love are mentioned and listed in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Because your mind is renewed, your thoughts are groomed or purified; you think in line with the Word of God, and the expression of the love of God on the inside of you would not be difficult.
- However, someone who's mind has not been renewed, might find it difficult to express the love of God, even though the love is already poured out in his or her heart by the Holy Spirit, but the expression, or the practicing of it, would be difficult.
• An elderly woman.
A number of years back, I visited an elderly woman, who was a Believer. She was imploring me to eat, but I declined. That she should not bother.
ON repentance, she was now saying, As she was imploring and persuading me to eat, If it were a person she does not like or has interest in, she might not bother to ask him or her to eat, not to talk of persuading or imploring him or her.
SHE said, she knows, she supposed to be hospitable, love to entertain strangers, As the Bible says (1 Timothy 5:10; Hebrews 13:1,2). But she finds it difficult to do. Even if someone asks for an assistance which she could render, If she does not seem to like the person, she would not do it, or render the ASSISTANCE. I know It is not good as a Believer, to have such an attitude, she said.
I SAID, now that you know that you have the problem, and would not want to remain in that state, the healing or change process has started (Ezekiel 36:12).
I SAID, she should repent and ask God for the Grace to express His love, God's love, deposited in her without being biased. That she would always be willing to render help to others, without being biased, as God gives her the ability (1 Timothy 6:17-19; Hebrews 13:16).
• Counsel for you; whoever is reading this. If you knew you had a wrong Heart, attitudes, characters, negative intentions, that are not right or in line with the Bible; ask God for the enabling Grace to do or practice His Word.
- Discipline yourself in order to put to work or practice the things we have shared in this piece.
- Ask and work on the change of your life, before you talk or complain about others:
41 AND why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the plank in your own eye? 42 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me remove the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the plank that is in your own eye? Hypocrite! FIRST REMOVE THE PLANK FROM YOUR OWN EYE, AND THEN YOU WILL SEE CLEARLY TO REMOVE THE SPECK THAT IS IN YOUR BROTHER'S EYE" (Luke 6:41,42 NKJV). - Some people talk about others who did not have a good heart, what have you done about the condition of your own heart?
a. The defects in your life, What have you done to correct or change them?
b. The old woman I shared her story here was willing to change, but in your own case, What effort have you made to correct that negative traits in your life?
c. Are the thoughts and intentions of your heart good?
• Whatever the evil thought in your heart is flushed out in Jesus' name. - Receive a new heart in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- And should there be any ailment in your body, you are delivered from it now in Jesus' name.
- Receive a sound health in Jesus' name.
Peace!
