The spiritual perfection: Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity

The apostle Paul in the epistle to the Hebrews tells us about the perfection of faith. The faith is a gift that we receive with the sacrament of baptism along with the spiritual gifts of justification and hope; but this faith must grow and bear fruits explains the apostle Paul, it must be a progressive faith and not a blind faith, to give rise to the new man, the man full of wisdom and understanding.
The apostle Paul to explain how to live the virtue of faith Christianly makes us a comparison with nature, with a little parable like those who taught Lord Jesus, the spiritual gift of faith is like water that falls from heaven in the form of rain and that faith, like the water that nourishes the earth, bears fruit, some are good and abundant but others useless, the believers in Christ are the land on which that rain falls:
"Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned" Hebrews 6:7-8.
With this, Paul explains that depending on the heart with which we receive the word, that faith will be a dead faith or a living and effective faith for the Kingdom of God: "The wise in heart accept commands, but a chattering fool comes to ruin" Proverbs 10:8.
Paul shows his concern for the teaching and tells us that he wants to advance in that faith, so that we are new people in the spirit and therefore complete and mature: "Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity" Hebrews 6:1.
A faith that progresses Paul tells us is a faith that imitates the blessedness of the Lord Jesus, and that of all the prophets who lived according to the word of God: "We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised" Hebrews 6:12.
The Kingdom of Heaven consists in developing the gifts that God gives us.
