The spiritual perfection: Who is like the wise? Who knows the explanation of things?. Ecclesiastes 8:1

in perfection •  3 years ago

Wisdom is a spiritual perfection that God grants to those who fear him: "To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness", Ecclesiastes 2:26.
And it is for this spiritual gift that God makes his devotees similar to him in essence, and grants them the understanding of the eternal mysteries: "Who is like the wise? Who knows the explanation of things?," Ecclesiastes 8:1.
We live in a world where reason seems to explain everything, but there are many things that practical science cannot explain. Wisdom as such is the mother of all mysteries and of those things that have no explanation, because ultimately behind them is God.
The gift of prophecy, the gift of clairvoyance, the gift of counsel (listen, meditate with intuition and inspiration, decide with creativity and discernment), are spiritual gifts that are born from the wisdom that God places in the heart of man.
No prophet in the Bible made a prophecy without first receiving God's wisdom to do so. What is a prophet but a person who announces the hidden mysteries of that eternal and providential wisdom that disposes of everything?
Joseph received wisdom from God to interpret Pharaoh's dreams and thus save the people from hunger in Genesis 41.
God led, with perfect guidance, the three wise men to the manger to render worship and devotion to the baby Jesus, avoiding the trap that King Herod sets for them to kill the child. (Matthew 2:1-12).
The disciples full of fear and sadness after the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus received a wisdom that gave them the strength to preach the gospel to all nations (Acts 2:1-4).
Wisdom is a special knowledge of reality, a knowledge that gives us security, confidence, protection against threats; to fulfill a plan, increase the order and perfection of the universe, and thus please the Creator of all things.
