Those of you who know me, know I absolutely LOVE listening to podcasts, almost to my detriment. There is not nearly enough time in a day to keep up with everything I want to hear, even at 1.5x speed.
One of the podcasts I'm into right now is Freedomain Radio with Stafan Molyneux. I like a quote he said yesterday, attributed to Sting, "The search for perfection is all good and well, but to look for heaven is to live here in hell."
What I take away from this is, strive for perfection, but don't pass up on a good opportunity while you're sitting around waiting on perfect to hit you in the mouth. Sometimes, the situation may not be what you think is perfect at the moment, but it may be just what you need at that moment in time. You can't pass on an opportunity for growth in hopes that something better is afoot. Hope is NOT a strategy.
