useful idioms. Thank you.

Your hardships will come in handy for many, thanks.

Sir are you sure you are using all the idioms? Or you are posting phrase and idioms both? Basically phrase and idioms are not same.

Thank you. That's right. Some of my posts may not be technically idioms. But that's not really important. An expression like "nest egg" has a meaning which is different from its literal meaning. My goal is to express those peculiar meanings of these expressions.

I am not saying you are presenting wrong information . i am saying many of us don't know what is the difference between phrase and idioms. That's many of us think that whatever you are posting all are idioms. So of you want you can make is Phrases and idioms series.

I am not an expert, but the website idioms.com has also listed "nest egg":

http://www.theidioms.com/nest-egg/

The idiom alludes to the practice of putting an egg into a hen’s nest in order to encourage her to lay. However, the connection between this practice and savings is not clear. The phrase was used in the figurative form since the 17th century, with the earliest record found being from 1686.

The title of the website is: "The Idioms: Largest Idioms Dictionary".

But essentially what you're saying is right. Some of the expressions that I post are not really idioms and are just phrases. But they are useful. And since they are a small percentage, I don't think it is really necessary to change the title of the series.

Anyway, thank you for your feedback. It was really helpful.

Well i see you just misundersrand me. I am not saying 'nest egg' is a phrase. I was talking about the whole tutorial. I said there some phrase in it not in the whole tutorial. And i didn't say you have to change the title. This is your property. You have the rights to do everything. All your posts are really helpful. So keep it up. Thank you.
