The main purpose of my "fishing trip" was to get some persimmons and to try out the boat motor. Well, I tried, but it's still giving me problems. So it's back to my workshop and taking it apart again.
It was very windy and hard to maneuver the boat. So no fish other than a small drum that was released.
But I did get some persimmons and might make some persimmon bread here soon. That is, if I don't eat them all! I have to go back and get some more though. They are just too good.
Does anyone want the persimmon bread recipe?
