Works of the flesh: Have nothing to do with a divisive person after you have warned him once or twice. Titus 3:10

The Book of Acts relates that the apostle Paul was on the island of Crete during his trip to the city of Rome where he was to be judged by the emperor and during the brief time he was on the island he founded the church of Crete. Sometime after this event, the apostle Paul wrote a letter to his beloved disciple Titus to organize that incipient Christian community. Basically, the letter consists in a set of pastoral recommendations to guide the first Christians in the true faith and the spiritual gift of eternal life.
And among these spiritual recommendations given to Titus by the apostle of the Gentiles, the spiritual master highlighted the importance of a righteous life ("Do to others what you would have them do to you" Matthew 7:12): "I want to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works" Titus 3:8.
And that this life in God's grace also meant rejecting the works of the flesh. The works of the flesh and the fruits of the spirit are the ultimate goals of human life depending on which spiritual path men choose, sin or righteousness.
It is a contradiction that a Christian who accepts faith to live in the grace of God is in relationship with the works of the flesh.
This is why the apostle gave his disciple Titus a very clear teaching about people who create divisions in the one spiritual body of Christ, which is the Church: "Have nothing to do with a divisive person after you have warned him once or twice. For you know that a person like this is corrupt and keeps on sinning, being self-condemned" Titus 3:10-11. The unity of all Christians is a fruit of the spirit, and everything that goes against this also goes against the holy spirit, which is the inner teacher of all believers.
