I remember feeling awkward and excited again when I was at the airport alone, waiting for my parents to pick me up. I had wanted to give her this surprise for weeks now, and the day had finally arrived. It has only 10 points, so please don’t scold my English. Please notice that my parents were arriving from a European trip, and I truly wish to do something for them.
I remember thinking of something that would make them proud. I searched through the spectators and was curious to get my first sight of the familiar faces. And then, I saw them. With excitement written all over my face, I trotted fast towards them, my heartbeat racing at an incredible pace. My mum gave me an expressive and stunned look, and my dad smiled broadly. Finally, they were back, and I was really excited to surprise them.
Juti and I’ hugged each other, and it felt so good to know a loving feeling I had not experienced for quite some time. I come from supportive parents who have always supported me through anything I wanted to do. And now I was the one who could do something for them, for what is all my young life with its unstable future worth? I led them to the airport parking lot and hired a limo for us to attend a dinner appointment at a classy restaurant.
My parents were stunned, and I could notice the joy in my parents' eyes. I guess I succeeded in shocking them, and it felt great. We were sitting in a restaurant eating and just talking about our lives, and I just had to pinch myself to remind myself that my parents exist. I had an opportunity to value my parents, who had offered me a lot in the past.
In that case, I told my parents that I would always stand for them as they have always stood for me. And when we said goodnight at the end of the night, I knew that this was a hug I will never likely forget for as long as I live.
The meaning behind the hug depicts care, affection and the relationship between a parent and a child. When my parents drove off, I felt satisfied and able to progress towards a better and more successful future. I had been proud to make them that way, which concerned me. This was a hug to the fullest and one I will never take for granted with the kind-hearted signal of an unbreakable family.
