“Learn to Be a Person First...” “先学做人...”

There is a saying, “Learn to be a person first, then only learn to do thing!” This is a profound statement reminding us several lessons pertaining to the person.

First, EQ is more important than IQ. The person may be very intellectual, yet can fail to be successful due to inability in handling one’s emotion and relationship with others.

Second, the worker is more important than the work to be done. If the worker has not been first equipped, there is no way to complete the work accordingly.

Third, character takes priority over competence. Indeed, we need people who are competent to complete a job, however, we almost never like to entrust the job to people cannot be trusted.

Therefore, we need good principled people who are competent for good work today.

有话说，“先学做人，才学做事!” 这是一句發人深省的话，提醒我们有关做人之道。

首先，情商比智商更为重要。一个人可能智力很好，但由于不能好好管理个人的情绪和人際关系而无法成功。

其次，工人较比工作重要。如果工人没有先獲得装备，则无法有效地完成工作。

第三，品格优先于能力。雖然我们需要人才以完成一份工作，但是我们很少会把工作委托给不能信任的人。

因此，我们今天需要有良好原则，並有能力胜任工作的人。
