Sharpie-
Like so many other things lent himself to a person in need and it has cost him dearly. Sharpie was caught up in the great hype of it all. He was doing things for people everywhere. He started out in a small room and boom!
He was now in classrooms across the world. He favored the child and loved to be a part of their projects. All of the glory and fame was more than he could ever phantom. He had made it. He had become a useful tool. Sharpie’s reality soon shifted when they changed his pigment. I mean really what celebrity never had any work done. He wasn’t the first and surely wouldn’t be the last. This change brought more notoriety to him. He was now in the big league. He was in business meetings, time share showings, and universities all over the world.
Sharpie’s life was at an all time high. He was living the life. Vacationing, lecturing, and leaving messages everywhere he went. He was in demand. Sharpie credited this new found prominence to his pigment change. Thrilled at its outcome, Sharpie decided to reshape his body. This decision had his friends worried and thought maybe he was changing too much. Sharpie chalked the negative feedback as jealous. He could not understand why it would not increase his ability. After the procedure, Sharpie still wasn’t satisfied. He began taking steroids and then it happened. Sharpie was given a highly sought after contract with the government. This contract would be the pinnacle of his career. Sadly, he was only allowed in meetings for short periods of time. His new size and smell would only irritate and frustrate his clients. Soon the clients were back to green boards with chalk. Sharpie was devastated and went into a deep depression. He soon lost all his bulk and tried to start again after his contract was over.
Was this the end for sharpie? Would he be content to look like an deformed pencil? Could he ever reclaim his former celebrity? With all these questions roaming unchecked in his brain Sharpie did something drastic. He decided he was done with it all. He rolled himself off a train platform in a desperate attempt to end it all. But he was rescued.
Heroic measures were done and his surgeon was praised. Sharpie now lives as a midget. Sometimes he even dangles off the key rings of college students. Sharpie has given up hope. His wife left him for his friend, gel pen. She had always loved a sleek, fine writing tool that doesn’t smear.
