Happy Weekend @Dtube!!
So, today I woke up to alot of Facebook Crash Updates,Blogs and Vlogs, and while majority of these seemed very thrilled about itand talking of how we can take advantage now to on board more Facebook Users on to Steemit, I want to look into the other side of the coin.
What Value would this Facebook Users be adding on to Steemit? Putting in mind Facebook is Mostly a very lazy platform for people who can bearly make a decent one paragraph post?
Also putting in mind they have no incentives to be on there, would earning money from a social media platform like steemit be enough to onboard them?
Share your thoughts.

hey @elsiekjay, you do bring an interesting point to the table. We certainly don't want the troll brigades to flood onto steemit, but I think the learning curve of crypto in general and the steemit platform would be too much effort for them. At the same time, you can't put such a harsh judgement on all facebook users. Some of the greatest bloggers on steemit were once avid facebook users, until they discovered steemit. I think the 80/20 rule applies here too. There are those on facebook who would do well here on steemit, who maybe just haven't heard of this opportunity yet. I used to produce some quality content, research wise, on facebook before finding out about steemit. Most of it was just trolled, which is why I was disheartned by the whole facebook energy, which is why I found steemit to be such a breathe of fresh air.
Those capable of transitioning to the steemit platform, would be a great addition to steemit and as i mentioned, the troll brigades and the BS posters, as you call them, would soon lose interest in steemit once they discovered that there is work involved to continually produce quality content.
Peace.

IMO, the people on FB either don't know or don't care that they use a site which exists to spy on them, their family and their friends - even if their family and friends have never used FB themselves. It's the biggest scam ever.

@free-reign you’re right, I think most don’t really care if their data is being harvested. It’s a platform they’ve known and loved. #notjudging
