How do I get rid of the house lizards? These guys are giving me nightmares.

It happens to me as well @sayee. There are lots of lizards in my room as well. All the possible routes for them are closed but they still grow fat. I don't know how they manage to find food and grow. They lay many eggs and their number grows. One good thing is, they hunt for mosquitos and other insects. So far they have not been a threat to me unless I find one in my bathroom. I have to look out for them to make sure I don't hurt them. That is the only concern for me. Other than that, they are really helpful. If you think the numbers are huge, then try to catch them and leave them in your backyard.

Pest control methods like having camphor in your room or phenolphthalin balls can help in chasing them away. Try one. I use lots of camphor in my room. It works for both Lizards as well as mosquitos. Helps in getting a good night sleep without the mosquito bite.

They eat insects, flies and mosquitos, he might have saved your life few times by now.
If there's too many of them, get a cat, they hunt them down.

So cute, why are you afraid of them they do not bite humans. They are friendly, please don't hurt them :( but if you must -

1- place egg shells in the corners of your house
2- put onion or garlic oil in the corners of your house and smear it around the window and door frames they do not like the smell , you can also hang garlic and unions everywhere .
3- make sure your trash is not to full they are attracted to that
4- move furniture away from walls
5- no or only few picture frames on the wall they love them

flies are much more dangerous on food and they eat them ...and just place onions near your food

Haa haa my wife also gets fearful looking it. It is good to have home lizard in home. Rarely bites to anyone.

They are cute but also squirmy. They eat a lot of insects and I would tolerate them, Maybe just make sure they couldn't get at me when I was sleeping. But if they truly creep you out ... go with a cat.

Hahahahahahah they scares me a lot! I have many of those little friends on my yard and just run when i see them on the wall. I know that are inofensive, but seems like are dragons for me 😂
