I grew straw flowers in the summer! They are so easy to grow, and they almost guarantee growing and blooming. If you have the seeds, just bury them in soil, and give it a little love of water, then watch them shooting up. The flowers last a long time! When you start to see the flowers getting old, collect the seed heads and save them for next year!
The petals are not soft like other flowers, but feel like crumbled paper! They are though, very pretty with different colors!

I have never seen a straw flower before, what a beautiful display of textures!! I would love to grow some in my garden. I will see if I can find some seeds online :)
