Contest of Petals: Pink Flowers

In my 1st photo, I used pink orchids as my first pink flower.

Pink orchids is the most delicate, toxic and graceful flower that represents love, luxury, beauty and strength. In ancient Greece, orchids is associated with virility. In fact, greek women believed that if the father of their unborn baby ate large new orchid tubers, the baby would be a boy. In Chinese, orchids is cobsidered a fengshui plant and believed that it will bring prosperity and good luck to the owner.

In my 2nd photo, I used pink kalachuchi as my 2nd pink flower

This flower is a good source of perfume, the favorite decoration in Spa especially in Metro Cebu, Philippines.

The medicinal benefits that we can get from this flower are:

1. Juice from flower
   Are good for skin disease like herpes and
   athlete's foot.

2. Bark
   Good for dysentery, diarrhea, gums and
   toothache.
