The speech of Peter at Pentecost: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs. Acts 2:22

The Book of Acts of the Apostles tells us one of the most emotional speeches of the apostle Peter, the leader of all the disciples of Jesus, after receiving the holy spirit, the spirit of wisdom and knowledge, during the Jewish celebration of Pentecost while the disciples were gathered in the name of the Lord.
The disciples of Jesus, after his death and resurrection, were scared and sad, and they were hidden for the fear of persecution; but with the arrival of the holy spirit they received a new interior strength, and Peter testified to this with his first speech to all his friends and to all non-believers who witnessed the miracle of the spirit.
The risen Jesus tells us the Book of Acts had promised the disciples not a baptism with water, but with fire, that is to say, a baptism with that transforming energy of God, so that the disciples could perceive the Kingdom of Heaven. In this way, the holy book relates the promise of Jesus: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit" Acts 1:4-5.
The apostle Peter, full of the Holy Spirit, began his first speech by explaining that Pentecost was the fulfillment of a prophecy from Joel.
And then he continued and affirmed the divinity of Jesus:
"Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man has handed over to you by God's deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him" Acts 2:22-24.
And finally, Peter ended his speech calling for the salvation and the conversion of all the pagans that witnessed the miracle of Pentecost, because the Kingdom of God is beatitude and redemption: "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins" Acts 2:38.
