Stop forcing us to cut our hair!

1 inch! Just that much!! Why??!

In Bangladesh most schools have a 1 inch hair policy for boys. I.e- If your hair is longer than 1 inch; You can't go to school. Now you may be wondering why having longer hair matters:

Short hair looks bad. You can't style short hair. It looks bad to the extent that some kids are bullied for it. Bullying is an issue. Being bullied not only lowers students' self-esteem but also forces some into rash decisions like suicide.

There are other problems of keeping shorter hair too. Kids while growing up see that women are allowed to keep longer hair but men aren't. This makes them see men and women as opposites instead of teaching them all are equal.

It's sexist to prevent boys from growing their hair and letting the girls have longer hair.In all seriousness, what does it matter to you if a boy invests time in himself to make him look better?

Now I know that this sounds like it's coming out of the mouth of a 15 year old boy but How does making boys have shorter hair make your school more disciplined?

If a person tries to look better, trying to improve. SHOW SOME POSITIVE ATTITUDE INSTEAD OF KICKING THEM OUT AND HUMILIATING THEM INFRONT OF THE WHOLE CLASS.
