My darling companions

My two four-feet darling companions.

The closest feeling of love for a child is having two well behaved, good-mannered sweet doggies.

Why am I calling them my kids? First they excepted me unconditionally. No strings attached. They make me feel like the best person in the world. They see me in a way no human being has ever see me.

They are quick learners. They follow a proper routine. They use their bathroom outside in nature with no exception. They give so much and ask a little in return. They look after my well being like no professional medical person could ever do.

They listen to me when I talk to them. Tramp, my rough collie answers me by making throat like soft noises. He put his foot on my shoulders and his head in my neck. Making me feel I have not a worry in the world. He protect me against anything that can harm me.

Dexter, my little big worsie, my bundle of joy my happy chappy. He play with me. He wants my full attention and makes sure he gets it. He literally take any newspaper or mobile phone or whatever device out of my hands and demand me to listen to him. He knows I hated it if he try to lick my face and will tease me by pretending he lick my face. Every now and then he catch me of guard and is very proud of himself if I show my disgust in his affection.

They both have their own personality. They sometimes plot together to amuse me. Many years back my nephew and niece play this game. They ran to me and then one would playfully sing: "Ek is tog eerste in Annelize se kar of kamer of waar ek my ook al behind". (I am the first in Annelize's room/car or wherever. ) This two angels do the same. They might be outside. Then all of a sudden they run into the house. Dexter jumps on me and Tramp put his head against my arm. I can swear I hear them sing the same playful tune... I am first .....

I love them both to eternity and back!
